CCHDR Research

The CCHDR promotes research education and training for all trainees, ranging from undergraduate students to junior investigators by increasing access to educational and research opportunities. The Center facilitates academic-community research opportunities by engaging in activities with underserved minority groups and populations.

By utilizing multidisciplinary approaches to address cancer health disparities research questions, we aim to train underrepresented students and junior investigators in cancer health, to expand a diverse workforce to meet the nation’s cancer research needs.
